How will EconothermPlus affect my Aga appliance?
Aga appliances rely on several factors to ensure stable operation. These include thermal stability and the char value of the product. Agas were designed to run on Class 1 Kerosene – also known as paraffin. If you currently use this (or 50/50 paraffin/burning oil blend) for your AGA then we do not recommend a change. If you currently burn Class 2 kerosene then EconothermPlus, with its thermal stability additive, can help with that aspect of the burn. If your oil tank supplies both an Aga appliance and a pressure jet burner our comments apply as above.
